Temperament: Generally Peaceful, but will get
territorial when reaching adult size and especially when getting ready to breed.
Feeding: Omnivore, prefers live foods
Sexing: Only
they and God know for sure, but during breeding the differences become clear.
General Comment: Very
peaceful fish, but will get aggressive as they mature, certainly during the time
the pair off and begin to breed. There are many color and fin varieties
available, thanks to selective breeding in the aquarium.
